The introduction of the Skippo app marks a significant evolution for boating enthusiasts in the Nordic region, with an anticipated membership nearing one million users. This app offers a tailored and user-centric experience, featuring nautical charts and services specifically designed for Nordic waters.

Importantly, Krak Til Søs has been integrated into Skippo. Existing users of the Krak Til Søs app can transition seamlessly, as their accounts and subscriptions remain functional within Skippo. All profile information, including saved locations and tracking data, will be preserved.

As the official navigation partner of KSSS and Gotland Runt, Skippo facilitates various features to enhance the boating experience:

• Planning: Users can search for islands and coordinates, explore guest harbors and nature ports, and save preferred locations within their boat profile. The app incorporates wind and weather forecasts for route planning, or users can utilize the automatic route planning feature to determine the fastest and most fuel-efficient path to their chosen destination. Reservations for guest harbor spots can be made directly through the app.
• Aid to Navigation: Locally adapted nautical charts and aerial imagery are available, with options for offline access. The app provides a clear instrument panel displaying speed in knots (SOG) and course (COG). Users can customize their view by adjusting zoom levels, locking boat direction, and adding various map layers that include port locations, AIS boat tracking, saved locations, as well as wind and weather forecasts. An anchor watch feature monitors the vessel's position while at anchor.
• Log: Users can create a personalized boat profile complete with name, picture, and technical specifications. This profile allows for the storage of favorite locations, plotted tracks, and both manually created and automatically generated routes. Skippo also presents users with detailed statistics on their boating activities, including distances traveled and time spent on the water. Pro users gain additional access to the platform's web app.
